When adult siblings Valerie and Patrick return to fix and sell their family home they awaken PRETYA, a malevolent ancestral entity with quenchless thirst.

As Pretya siphons away their life force they both begin to experience the re-emergence of traumatic childhood memories. Eventually they start to question the validity of their memories - are they real or imagined or something PRETYA is imprinting on them?
